The Leadership Team is made up of the lay officers shown plus the Ministerial Team. They guide the Church after seeking God's will together.

Martin Turner

Rev Martin Turner

Superintendent Minister.

Martin was born in 1948 and grew up in suburban Essex.  He  had few links with Church as a young person, but  eventually joined a youth group and through that went to a “tent crusade” and made a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. He trained as a teacher, teaching for four years in the East End of London. Called to the ministry he was trained at
Wesley College, Bristol and West Hill, Birmingham. His first  post (1977) was as Assistant Minister, Youth Centre Leader and University Chaplain at the Bradford Mission. He then served (1980) at the St .Andrew’s Church and Community Centre in Halifax, where he started his involvement in the healing ministry and saw much growth. Next (1986) came ministry at the Hatfield Road, St. Albans and Redbourn Churches. In both major rebuilding work was undertaken, community work started and the congregations expanded.  He then moved (1997) as Superintendent of the Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Circuit, where he also served as Chaplain at The Mount Prison.   He was then pulled out (2001) of Hertfordshire to go as the Superintendent Minister at the Methodist Central Hall Westminster, where his invitation has now been extended to 2011. At a national level Martin has been a “Conference Elected” member of the Methodist Conference and a member of the Methodist Strategy and Resources Committee and the Methodist Council. He was Chair of Headway, the evangelical grouping in Methodism;   He has preached widely including at Spring Harvest, Easter People, the Irish Castlewellen Holiday Week. He is married to Biddy, a practice nurse, and they have three grown up children - Luke
(married to Holly), Rebecca and Mary. Martin’s hobbies are spending time with friends,  antiques,  fishing , gardening and  walking.

Malcolm White

Rev Dr Malcolm White

Minister.

Malcolm was ordained in 1965 as a Methodist Minister.  His ministry has been a little unusual.  After leaving University, he spent a year on Caravan Missions with short stays in different parts of the country, then he did what he describes as normal church work with churches in the Midlands. The Methodist Church then asked him to go as Theology Tutor to Cliff College in Derbyshire.  Having stayed for there 5 years, he went as Head of R.E and Chaplain to our Methodist School in Devon.  During this time he unsuccessfully stood for Parliament, although he has continued to be deeply interested in Politics.  After this he had 3 other appointments in Education as well as helping in the local Churches.  His last appointment was as Headmaster of a large London Comprehensive School.  He remained there for 16 years, during which time he was also the Associate Minister at Windsor Methodist Church.  His whole involvement in Education and Politics was so that he could be close to people outside the Church and so that he might have the opportunity to communicate the Gospel and help people reach their full potential.  In the early1990s another phase of ministry opened up as God blessed his ministry with certain healing gifts. In 1998 he resigned as Headmaster, and left Windsor Church to set up and run the prayer and healing ministry at the Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.  He has spoken at Conferences in this country and abroad, written and helped to write a few books and  articles.  He is married to Jennifer, who is a Pharmacist, and they have two grown up children.

Jonathan Green
Young Adult Pastor.

Jonathan took up his post as young adult pastor in Sept 05 and has a vision for building a community of 20-30s who can support and enable one another to follow Jesus and work out their faith in the context of life and work in London.

Jonathan spent time on a worship school in Canada after leaving school and went on to do an honours degree in Theology, Music and Worship at the London School of Theology. After completing his BA, Jonathan stayed to do an MA in Biblical interpretation and then took up his first post as assistant pastor at Vineyard Church Sutton in Surrey.

After finishing at the Vineyard Church, Jonathan and his wife Felicity spent 18 months living on the South Coast near Felicity's family where he put his creative IT skills into play as a web designer for the Ministry of Defence.
From here they heard about the post at Central Hall and they moved back to London in August 2005.
