At Methodist Central Hall, Westminster we are pleased to welcome visitors from all parts of the world and to show you round this unique building which is located opposite Westminster Abbey and within two minutes walk of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. It is one of the largest Methodist churches in the UK and can seat 2350 people in the Great Hall which is always used as a Church on Sunday mornings.
Methodist Central Hall is more than a Church. It is a very busy Conference Centre during the week and on occasions this may result in guided tours of the building being curtailed.
To help visitors feel welcome, we have prepared a leaflet, which has been translated into twelve different languages. Copies of this leaflet can be downloaded so that visitors can read about the history of the building before coming to London.
We hope that after reading the leaflet in your mother tongue you will come and visit this unique Church where you can be assured of a very warm welcome. The guided tours of the building are FREE of charge but donations towards its work and mission are appreciated.
We also have an excellent Cafeteria in the Basement where visitors can enjoy light refreshments, mid-day meals and teas.
