MISSION STATEMENT

The Church at Methodist Central Hall Westminster is a culturally diverse fellowship.

Our mission is to be a vital Christian presence in the heart of London.

We offer hope and a welcome to all peoples by sharing God’s love and forgiveness.

We seek to make the love of Jesus known to our community and the world through our worship, preaching, prayer, healing, fellowship, service, evangelism and openness to the Holy Spirit.

This video is hosted by the Methodist Conference, sponsored by Methodist Insurance.            The Sunday morning worship is a highlight within the life of the Conference. Through singing, prayer, preaching and drama the story of God's love for the world is celebrated. During the service those who have trained to be Presbyters and Deacons are accepted 'into full Connexion', which is part of the Methodist tradition of affirming that people are called to serve God. Later in the day those accepted will go on to be ordained in a number of churches and cathedrals around the region, recognising that Methodist ministers serve as part of the world-wide church of Christ.

    Saying Goodbye Service

'Saying Goodbye' services are organised by The Mariposa Trust for anyone who has lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy, and whether recently or 80 years ago.  These services are held throughout the UK and one is coming to London very soon.

Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, is privileged to host the regional 'Saying Goodbye’ service for London on Sunday 30th November 2014 at 3.30pm and The Revd's Martin Turner and Tony Miles will be leading the service.

All are welcome regardless of faith, or no faith, for an opportunity to remember and acknowledge lives unlived or cut short.
