In the Bible we read about the healing ministry of Jesus and of the early Church. Over the centuries the same concern has been expressed in the ministry of the Church, through the sacrament of Holy Communion, prayers for the sick, and the love and care offered to people by individual Christians. It is Jesus who heals through His Spirit to meet us at our point of need.
